I did a thorough search for a 42-46 inch HD TV and decided on a plasma over an LCD. The plasma typically has a better picture and wider viewing angle than the LCD. The main objection to the plasma is the reflections in a well lit room. Samsung has solved most of that objection with the PN42B450 42inch plasma. After purchasing the TV I find that reflections can still be seen but they are not objectionable. It has a very wide viewing angle and an excellent picture even in standard definition. Amazon's price was the best that I could find and there were no shipping charges. I am very happy with this purchase and with the way Amazon handled everything. I would recommend Amazon and the Samsung PN42B450 to anyone.
